WHY STUDY ABROAD WITH US?
Any study abroad program can get you to a country and find you a place to live. It takes a certain kind of study abroad program, however, to provide you with all the tools necessary to ensure that your experience is both memorable and fulfilling.
Size
Unlike many other study abroad programs, ASA keeps the size of our programs small. We firmly believe that group sizes of 150+ students only hurt your ability to integrate into the culture and do not allow your site directors to get to know you.
Experience
ASA student support is second to none. From course selection advising, to health, to flights - we've got you covered. Check out the list of What's Included on your Program Location page, as well as our exclusive World of Care comprehensive student support suite.
ASA Staff
The ASA team is a group of people who are well traveled, experienced in foreign education, multi-lingual, always there to assist you, and best of all, they are people who have studied abroad themselves. You will get personal attention from every ASA staff member!
SPOTLIGHT PROGRAMS

Aberdeen
Tucked along the rugged northeast coast of Scotland, Aberdeen is a captivating blend of ancient charm and modern vibrancy. Take classes at University of Aberdeen in English in Business, STEM, Education, and much more while soaking up Scottish culture - including Scotland's famous Highland Games! Prepare to be enchanted by a city with cobbled streets and centuries of tradition, plus all the amenities of a modern city.

Aix-en-Provence
Nestled in the heart of southern France, just minutes from the crystal blue Mediterranean Sea, Aix-en-Provence is an elegant university town that invites you to experience authentic French culture in an intimate, walkable setting. Take classes in English or French at IAU College amidst cobblestone streets, sunlit cafés, and centuries-old fountains, creating a postcard-perfect backdrop for your study abroad experience.

Barcelona
Barcelona is one of our most popular programs – and for good reason! Perched along the sparkling Mediterranean coast, Barcelona's golden beaches buzz with life just steps from Gothic cathedrals and open-air tapas bars. Take classes in English or Spanish at one of 5 universities while immersing yourself in Spanish culture and enjoying easy and affordable travel to other European countries. You can also supercharge your resume with an 8-week summer internship.
WHAT OUR STUDENTS ARE SAYING

ASA is a small program, but that’s what makes it so great. The personal attention can’t be beat and I made plenty of friends outside of the group.
Chelsea Francis
I would recommend ASA to other students because not only was it a great price for what you get, but it was so much fun and the site director was great.
Morgan Pecknold
ASA is a very thorough program. It is well organized and structured, yet allows for plenty of independent activity and personal responsibility. There were many times where I felt foreign, but I rarely felt like a tourist. I engaged in the culture with the ASA program, I didn’t just take a picture and a souvenir
